Manager Laboratory Services- Core Lab

Manages operational aspects of designated laboratory area to ensure quality service and outcomes. Actively promotes a lean work culture by performing value-stream manager duties to encourage consistent use of lean principles and processes, including continually seeking work process improvements. Collaborates with leadership team, providing administrative and technical support as required. Recognizes necessity of staff to own motivation, morale, performance, and professional development. Actively encourages performance and behavior consistent with a commitment to the labs and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's mission, goals, and values by providing materials and processes necessary to be successful. Experience 5 years of clinical laboratory experience in a high complexity laboratory 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience. Preferred Qualifications 8 years of clinical laboratory experience. Education.
