Design Engineer (DOD Clearance) (Grand Prairie)

MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT).

Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as a Design Engineer.

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD SECURITY CLEARANCE.

Seeking an Electromechanical Design Engineer with CCA production experience with Windchill and MRB support.

Candidate must show strategic vision and influence in the development of new design concepts and engineering efforts for product research and development as well as provide electromechanical production support. Candidate will be expected to interface effectively with multiple functional groups including structural and thermal analyst, configuration management, electrical and mechanical designers, subcontracts, planning, and quality personnel during design, engineering documentation release, assembly, inspection, and test processes. Travel may be required as needed.

Required Experience: •Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in an Engineering related field. •Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and ability to perform tolerance analysis. •Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with Creo design software •Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with Root cause and corrective action experience •Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with reading engineering drawings, documents, parts lists and specifications •Be able to lead investigative effort and report status to interdisciplinary teams
