This role will work closely with business stakeholders, actuaries, underwriting, claims, and IT teams to build
AI-powered automation
using UiPath AI Center, Document Understanding, and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
UiPath & Intelligent Automation
Design, develop, and maintain
UiPath automation workflows
for insurance processes such as:
Claims intake and adjudication
Policy issuance and endorsements
Underwriting data validation
Premium calculations and renewals
Implement
UiPath AI Center
for model deployment and lifecycle management.
Utilize
UiPath Document Understanding
to process structured and unstructured insurance documents (ACORD forms, claims documents, medical reports, invoices).
Integrate UiPath bots with core insurance systems (Policy Admin, Claims, Billing, CRM).
Data Science & AI
Develop and deploy
machine learning models
for insurance use cases such as:
Fraud detection
Risk scoring and underwriting recommendations
Claims severity prediction
Customer churn and retention analysis
Apply
NLP techniques
for document classification, entity extraction, and sentiment analysis.
Build and optimize
predictive and prescriptive analytics models .
Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation.
AI Add-ons & Advanced Capabilities
Implement
Generative AI
use cases (where applicable), such as:
Claims summarization
Intelligent customer communication drafts
Knowledge extraction from policy documents
Integrate
AI services
(Azure AI, AWS AI, Google AI, OpenAI APIs) with UiPath workflows.
Leverage
computer vision
for image-based claims assessment (damage detection, document verification).
Data & Platform Integration
Work with large datasets from insurance platforms and data lakes.
Design APIs and data pipelines to support automation and AI workflows.
Collaborate with cloud teams to deploy AI solutions on
Azure / AWS / GCP .
Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with insurance regulations (HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR where applicable).
Governance & Best Practices
Follow UiPath best practices for
reusability, scalability, and performance .
Implement monitoring, logging, and exception handling for bots and AI models.
Support model retraining, performance tuning, and automation optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Technical Skills
Strong experience with
UiPath
(Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center, Document Understanding).
Solid foundation in
Data Science & Machine Learning .
Proficiency in
Python / R
for ML model development.
Experience with
SQL
and data analysis tools.
Hands-on experience with
NLP and predictive analytics .
AI & Automation
Experience integrating
ML models into RPA workflows .
Familiarity with
Generative AI and LLMs
is a strong plus.
Knowledge of
MLOps
concepts and model deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
UiPath certification (Advanced RPA Developer, AI Center Specialist).
Experience with
cloud-native AI services .
Knowledge of
fraud analytics or actuarial data .
Prior experience in
health, life, P&C, or reinsurance platforms .
