Renal Dialysis Technician Job Description

This job involves providing patient care for patients receiving dialysis treatments. As a Renal Dialysis Technician, you will be responsible for direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and operating the dialysis equipment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess certain skills and qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a PCT training program or at least one year of experience in hemodialysis is necessary. CCHT certification is required for experienced dialysis technicians. Dialysis certification must be obtained within 18 months for those with no previous dialysis experience.
