Medical Assistant

Job Title: Medical Assistant Location: Brooklyn NY 10034 Shift: Morning Shift (09:00 AM TO 05:00 PM) Duration: 2 Months with a high possibility of extension Pay Range: $20-25/hour

Job Description: Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff by performing both administrative and clinical duties in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Responsibilities include taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with basic medical procedures, maintaining and updating medical records in the EMR system, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, handling billing and insurance-related tasks as needed, and ensuring exam rooms and equipment are properly prepared and maintained, while delivering professional, compassionate care and adhering to all healthcare regulations and policies.

Qualifications: -High School diploma or equivalent (GED) -Required Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of hands-on experience working in an OBGYN clinical setting.

Required Certifications & Licensure: -BLS (AHA) -Certified Medical Assistant
