Position Overview/Purpose: The Vendor Payables Specialist at SMG Holdings LLC plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions of our vendor payables department. This position requires a meticulous and organized individual who can efficiently handle high volume invoice processing and responses to invoice inquiries from our field partners across North America.

Responsibilities: Resolve inquiries from vendors courteously and efficiently, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring smooth financial transactions. Schedule and process outgoing vendor payments. Approve vendor invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures to move forward in payment processing cycle.

Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and payable, or general accounting. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in Microsoft Suite including but not limited to PowerPoint, Word, Excel (Pivot Tables, navigating larger data sets).

Other Skills: Industry WMS Systems Experience (Service Channel, Corrigo, Verisae, Fexa, Facil-IT, etc.) are a plus. Managing high volume transactions within WMS Systems and ensuring compliance preferential. Labor trade and pricing experience in the trades is a plus. FM experience also a plus.
