Diesel Mechanic

*Mechanic-1st shift * *7am-5pm -Monday-Friday * * *Sign-On Bonus* * *Referral Bonus Program* * *Safety Bonus* Overview: As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our vehicles and equipment. Your responsibilities will include conducting repairs, preventive maintenance, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to diagnose and resolve issues promptly. Collaboration with the Shop Manager and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this role. * Conduct timely repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment, following specifications and utilizing OEM software, tools, and technologies. * Install, replace, re-build, or repair parts and equipment to meet industry standards and customer satisfaction. * Coordinate with the Shop Manager to schedule repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring efficient workflow. * Authorize or assist in scheduling dealer, shop, and field repairs while applying warranties appropriately. * Demonstrate proficiency in using various tools required for vehicle repairs and maintenance. * Utilize computer skills for diagnostic purposes and complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. * Maintain a clean and safe work area, complying with corporate and OSHA standards. * Interpret failure modes through vehicle computer electronics systems to initiate or assign necessary repairs. * Engage in physical activities such as walking, lifting, twisting, turning, and climbing a ladder. * Possess a valid driver's license; CDL-A or B is a plus. * Have 1+ years of experience in truck and/or trailer mechanics. * Possess 1+ years of experience in Aluminum & Steel welding. *Available benefits:* * Health Insurance * Access to a top-notch on-site fleet maintenance department (24/7). * Work with excellent equipment and tools. * 401(k) with matching for future financial security. * Disability insurance for added protection. * Flexible spending account for personal expenses. * Low-cost Dental & Vision insurance for comprehensive care. * Life insurance. * Paid time off.
