Registered Pharmacist

Job Description: An outpatient specialty pharmacy is seeking a

licensed Pharmacist

to provide temporary coverage. This role supports patients receiving specialty therapies, including

biologics, oral oncolytics, and injectables , across oncology, dermatology, rheumatology, and neurology.

Key Responsibilities: Review, verify, and dispense specialty medications Evaluate clinical appropriateness (dosing, labs, interactions, comorbidities) Provide detailed patient education on administration, adherence, and side effects Document clinical interventions and outcomes Support prior authorizations with clinical documentation Collaborate with prescribers and clinic staff to ensure continuity of care

Requirements: Active

Oregon Pharmacist license 2+ years of retail and/or specialty pharmacy experience Strong clinical assessment and patient counseling skills Experience with specialty medications preferred Familiarity with McKesson systems a plus (training provided)
