Job Overview:

Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA, for eight years in a row. We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with the Advancement of a Medical Directorship in Temecula, CA.

Essential Responsibilities: Urgent Care Medicine practices twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break. Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing 4 mid-level providers. Part-time is a minimum of 6 shifts per month, and managing up to 4 mid-level providers Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting. Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair. Equipment: We offer In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-rays. A Board-Certified Radiologist overreads all X-rays, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders. Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute

Requirements: Minimum Requirements | Qualifications: Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.) Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program CA Medical License that is active and in good standing DEA Certificate
