Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within an elementary school setting serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract position, lasting through June 5th, 2026, offers the chance to impact the communication development of a diverse caseload of 60-70 students.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting speech and language evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans
Providing direct therapy services tailored to students specific communication needs
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adapt interventions
Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in IEP meetings as required
Supporting students' academic and social communication skills across the school day
Qualifications and experience desired:
Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or relevant credentials)
Proven experience working with school-aged children, preferably in elementary education
Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders common among K-8 students
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment
Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality therapy services
Location and schedule:
Position located in Chandler, AZ
Contract role from ASAP through June 5th, 2026
Full-time hours, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
