Industrial Electrician

Description: Our Evergreen EWP manufacturing mill in Castleberry, Alabama has an opening for a skilled Industrial Electrician with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of

electrical

equipment, process and techniques to safely repair, modify, install and maintain the facility and high-tech manufacturing equipment. Starting wage of $27.75 - 34.11, depending on experience. Key Functions

Safely repairing and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems

Preventative maintenance responsibilities

Support of goals and objectives of the entire maintenance team

Basic PLC troubleshooting

and maintaining electric motors

Basic mechanical support, as needed

Qualifications:

Must possess a high school diploma or GED

Stable employment history

Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Industrial Electrical work in a manufacturing or industrial facility

Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, to include weekends, and holidays as operating conditions require

A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations

Good working knowledge of industrial electricity issues

Commitment to follow all unit electrical / maintenance practices

A team player who is committed to quality work

Ability to pass a pre-employment examination

Commitment wear all personal protective equipment

Able to work in manufacturing environment to include climbing stairs and catwalks and the ability to work in extreme heat / cold

The following qualifications are preferred:

Vocational or technical school certificate in related area

Experience with SAP, Maximo or other CMMS

PLC troubleshooting or programming experience
