Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opening for a full-time Occupational Therapist is available for the current school year at an elementary school in Freeport, IL. This contract position offers flexibility in scheduling within a standard school day and allows the therapist to manage their own hours across two onsite locations. The role involves supporting K-8 students two days a week and K-5 students three days a week, providing a dynamic and diverse work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
Collaborate with educators and staff across two school districts
Address sensory integration and pediatric therapy needs in a school setting
Maintain documentation and adhere to educational and healthcare regulations
Support student academic success and development through tailored interventions
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based therapy
Experience with sensory integration techniques preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Ability to develop and implement flexible therapy schedules within school hours
