Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time occupational therapy opportunity serves a diverse K-12 student population across a school district in Everett, WA. The role focuses on providing therapeutic services to students aged 3 to 22, with a caseload of approximately 70 students. The position offers the chance to work closely with an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), fostering teamwork and comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to a wide range of students in school settings, addressing developmental delays, sensory processing issues, and fine motor skills challenges.
Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
Conduct assessments, set goals, and document student progress.
Provide direct therapy interventions according to best practices and district guidelines.
Participate in district-wide program development and team meetings.
Qualifications:
Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license is required.
Experience serving children and adolescents, with a willingness to work with a broad age range (3-22 years).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
No prior school-based experience is necessary; orientation and support will be provided.
Location and Schedule:
Onsite position based in Everett, WA.
Full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week).
Immediate start through June 12, 2026, with opportunity to extend for the 2026-2027 school year.
