The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the technical maintenance team in a high-volume, 24/7 industrial food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of specialized food production equipment, including industrial mixers, proofers, high-speed cooling tunnels, and packaging lines. The ideal candidate will combine strong mechanical and electrical expertise with proven leadership skills to manage technicians and minimize production downtime. Duties and Responsibilities

Team Leadership

Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians Coordinate daily work assignments Manage emergency repair responses to minimize downtime Preventative Maintenance

Oversee and optimize the preventive maintenance program using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Ensure ovens, conveyors, and robotic palletizers are serviced according to schedule Technical Troubleshooting

Provide "tier-2" support for complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues Troubleshoot PLC-related issues as needed Food Safety & Compliance

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with SQF, BRC, or AIB standards Maintain a food-safe environment by ensuring no tools or debris remain on production lines after repairs Vendor & Parts Management

Manage relationships with external contractors Oversee inventory of critical spare parts to support rapid repair turnaround Safety Leadership

Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred Experience Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment At least 3 years in a supervisory or lead maintenance role Prior experience in Food & Beverage or a regulated "clean" manufacturing environment highly preferred Strong technical proficiency with:

3-phase electricity Motor controls PLC logic (Allen Bradley / Siemens)
