Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

with at least

1 year of outpatient cardiology experience

to support a collaborative team of cardiologists and clinical staff. Why This Role?

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments (history, physical exams, risk stratification)

Manage patients with hypertension, heart failure, CAD, arrhythmias, hyperlipidemia, and more

Order and interpret diagnostics (EKGs, echos, stress tests, Holter monitors, labs)

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans

Prescribe and adjust medications per guidelines

Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and disease management

Accurately document encounters in EMR

Coordinate care with referring providers and ancillary services

Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

Active

New York Nurse Practitioner license

Minimum

1 year of outpatient cardiology NP experience

Board Certified (ANCC or AANP)

Active DEA (or eligible)

Strong cardiovascular clinical knowledge

Excellent communication and clinical judgment skills

Preferred

Experience in outpatient cardiology or multispecialty practices

Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems

Experience managing high-volume patient panels
