My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team in the Legal industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing legal support and counsel on personal injury cases. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of personal injury law and will be responsible for managing a caseload from start to finish, including conducting investigations, drafting pleadings, preparing and arguing motions, and representing clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough case investigations to determine the validity of a client's case.
Manage all phases of personal injury and wrongful death litigation, from investigation and pleadings through trial, settlement, and appeal.
Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Conduct and defend depositions.
Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to avoid court proceedings.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law and related legal developments.
Provide legal advice to clients and potential clients, explaining the likely outcomes and risks of a case.
Maintain the highest level of professional conduct and ethics in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.
Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure that clients receive the best possible representation.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law.
Proven track record of success in personal injury cases, including trial experience.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve matters satisfactorily and cost-effectively for clients.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable manner.
Ability to manage a high caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
