Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Job brief

We are looking for an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team and counsel individuals, couples and families using Evidence-Based therapeutic techniques.

Mental Health Therapist responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, leading sessions with individuals, couples, families, and groups, and referring clients to specialists as needed.

Ultimately, you will work directly with clients to counsel them in treating various mental health disorders, in order to lead a healthier and happier life.

Responsibilities

Establish positive, trusting rapport with clients Diagnose and treat mental health disorders Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances Meet with clients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress Involve and advise family members when appropriate Requirements and skills Proven work experience as a Mental Health Therapist, including a Master's level internship Excellent communication skills Empathy for clients Ability to uphold HIPPA: confidentiality with client information Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field, and an independent Clinical Level License in Social Work or Counseling in the State of North Dakota and Minnesota. Ability to commit to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8-5, with a minimum of 27 client contact hours per week. Have access to internet and a secure location in your home, as this is a hybrid position. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $125,000.00 per year
