Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support for a 2nd-grade student with non-verbal autism utilizing an AAC device in a school setting located in Aurora, IL. This role is ideal for an SLP with PEL certification who is passionate about making a meaningful impact through focused, individualized therapy. Qualifications:

* Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Speech-Language Pathology * Completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) preferred * Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is an asset * Experience working with pediatric populations, especially students with autism spectrum disorder * Familiarity with AAC devices and communication strategies for non-verbal children

Job Details:

* Contract position starting ASAP through December 2026, with potential for extension * 2 hours per week providing direct intervention * Caseload: 1 student, 2nd grade, non-verbal autism using AAC device * Work setting: School environment focused on individualized therapy
