Roles & Responsibilities Provide direct, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in the cardiovascular lab Assess patients and monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data throughout procedures Prepare and maintain the procedure room - ensure equipment readiness and supply availability Communicate continuously with physicians and the care team about patient condition Document clinical care and patient status accurately and promptly Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory tracking, and procedural setup Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities Support the Cardiovascular Lab team to ensure safe, efficient patient-centered care

Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required BLS (Basic Life Support) required and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required upon hire and to be maintained DCI/BVP certification listed as required (per facility certification list) Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area Comfort with adult and geriatric patient populations and intra-procedural monitoring Completion of facility-required testing and checklists (Prime exams, skills checklist) and enrollment in Nursys verification Up-to-date immunizations and required health screenings (COVID-19, TB, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, flu, fit test, drug screen, etc.)

Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills Patient assessment and monitoring of physiologic/hemodynamic data Procedure room readiness, setup, and supply management Experience in Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Lab environments Clinical documentation best practices and clear communication with physicians Familiarity with equipment maintenance, inventory control, and troubleshooting Participation in continuous quality improvement and performance initiatives Prime exam/testing familiarity and Prime Skills Checklist knowledge (preferred)
