Quality Control Manager (DuPage County)

THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our products by implementing effective quality management systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES Manage ISO compliance (ISO 9001) and lead preparation for ISO 13485 certification, including audits, documentation, and system updates. Oversee quality metrics, inspections (incoming, in-process, first-piece), PPAP/FAIR documentation, and continuous improvement efforts. Lead scrap reduction initiatives, corrective actions (CAR/SCAR), and DMR/RMA processes within the Mietrak ERP system. Manage calibration activities (internal and external) and support quality-related activities across production. Train operators, leads, and QA staff on quality processes, inspection methods, and print interpretation.

REQUIREMENTS Proven experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Quality Management. Strong knowledge of

ISO 9001 ; experience with

ISO 13485

strongly preferred. Familiarity with PPAP, FAIR, corrective action processes, and calibration systems. Experience with ERP systems Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to lead, train, and influence cross-functional teams.
