Overview UMH Ionia is seeking a qualified locum CRNA to deliver safe, efficient anesthesia care for general surgical and endoscopy procedures. This role involves working day shifts (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday) with remote supervision from an anesthesiologist. No on-call duties are required, making it an ideal opportunity for work-life balance while covering scheduled vacation needs. Your expertise will support a hospital with a Level 4 trauma designation, serving a diverse patient demographic from pediatric to geriatric populations.

Required Skills Valid CRNA certification and state licensure Proven experience in general surgical anesthesia and endoscopy procedures Ability to work independently with remote supervision Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly EPIC Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques including regional blocks, nerve blocks, spinal and epidural anesthesia, and ventilation management Excellent communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Nice to Have Skills Experience in pediatric anesthesia Familiarity with advanced airway management Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS Previous experience working in a Level 4 trauma center

Preferred Education and Experience Master's degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia or related field Minimum of 2 years of clinical anesthesia practice, preferably in hospital or surgical center settings Prior experience working independently with remote supervision

Other Requirements Credentialing and licensing approval expected within 60 days Ability to travel as needed, with mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rates Availability to start on or around March 1, 2026 Orientation period of half the hourly rate; holiday pay at 1.5 times hourly rate
