Agent Software Engineer

Location : New York City, NY (On-site) Type : Full-time Compensation : $220,000 – $300,000 base + competitive equity Visa Sponsorship: Available

About the Role

On the Agent Engineering team, you’ll have complete ownership and autonomy in building and shipping best-in-class AI agents, from initial implementation through continuous iteration. You'll collaborate directly with leaders across industries like finance, healthcare, and hospitality—solving their users’ needs through intuitive, reliable automation.

Engineers here own their work end-to-end and are trusted to make a real impact. This role is ideal for someone who dives deep into complex system challenges and builds elegant, scalable solutions used by millions.

In this role, you will:

Design and build AI agents that outperform human agents in managing complex customer interactions and driving retention Identify cross-customer trends to influence the evolution of the internal agent-building platform and research priorities Experiment with and evaluate the latest text and voice models, integrating them at scale with enterprise-grade customers Key Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and ship full-stack solutions for AI-powered agents Own projects end-to-end, including development, deployment, and ongoing refinement Collaborate across teams to solve user challenges and improve system performance Build scalable, reliable products designed for diverse customer environments Minimum Requirements:

2+ years of full-time experience in full-stack engineering (internships do not count) Experience at a high-growth startup, HFT firm (e.g., HRT, Citadel), or tech company with a high engineering bar Proficiency in Python and TypeScript Solid understanding of asynchronous programming CS degree from a top 20 university or top 10 CS program Bonus Experience:

Proven work on AI/ML products or high-impact system design Internship or early career experience at elite trading firms or growth-stage startups Track record of ownership on fast-scaling products Traits We Value:
