This role performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to repairing commercial laundry equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Work can be done on-site at customer locations. A company work van will be provided to be used to begin workday from home. $20 Hourly Rate

Service Technician - Duties & Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair commercial laundry equipment. Install replacement parts as needed. Accurately document all service activities, including time and materials. Accurately document all travel activities, including mileage and fuel purchases. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair work to ensure satisfaction. Communicate effectively with the service manager, parts department, and vendors to facilitate accurate work product. Maintain tools, service equipment, and a service vehicle. Troubleshoot equipment and identify replacement parts through schematic drawings. Drive and maintain a company service van Stock service van with necessary tools and equipment Identify damaged materials and record material shortages Load and unload needed materials onto and from a variety of containers, including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilize appropriate tools to accomplish tasks Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools Lift heavy objects by hand (50-100 pounds) Maintain a safe and clean working environment Wear appropriate PPE as needed Work effectively with limited direct supervision Work overtime as needed with occasional overnight stays Participate in quality improvement efforts Perform required administrative tasks and prepare all required reports and correspondence Input schedule and daily reports into the service software system Perform other duties as assigned by the manager Service Technician - Qualifications: Valid drivers license Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Experience servicing and repairing floor cleaning equipment is preferred Solid electro-mechanical knowledge Willing to train the right mechanically inclined individual A background in electrical work is preferred to be trained Basic Microsoft Office, including Outlook, is helpful Ability to work with minimal supervision Commitment to excellence and high standards Strong written and oral communication skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to manage priorities and workflow Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Acute attention to detail Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Excellent time management skills Confidence in working in a deadline-driven environment Excellent customer service skills Ability to think creatively, prioritize and multi-task Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-directed Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams Ability to pass company background screening, motor vehicle report and drug testing requirements Service Technician - Physical Requirements: Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance. Carry equipment, tools, motors, etc., into facilities – often long walks to reach a destination. Stoop, climb or crawl over/under machines, tables, pipes, buckets, etc. to reach equipment Drive for long periods of time (sitting) Wear appropriate safety equipment Brame uses the EOS Management System. All employees will participate in regularly scheduled L10 Meetings to discuss departmental issues and suggest opportunities for improvement. All Manager and Supervisors are required to have quarterly conversations with each of their direct reports.
