Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Waterbury, CT. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, inspecting materials and fabricated components, maintaining records of inspections, and leading a quality-focused team. The role also involves addressing non-conformance issues, conducting audits, and collaborating with production teams to improve processes.
Qualifications
Proficiency in quality assurance processes, quality control methodologies, and standard operating procedures.
Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills to lead and collaborate effectively.
Experience with materials testing, reporting, and maintaining documentation.
Knowledge of structural fabrication, welding processes, and heavy construction applications is a plus.
Analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving quality issues effectively.
Educational background or certifications in quality management or a related field, such as engineering, is preferred.
