About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Orthopedic Surgery MD in Paducah, Kentucky, 42001! Hospital is seeking a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for 24-hour emergency call and surgical backfill coverage. This role involves high-acuity orthopedic trauma and surgical cases using EPIC EMR, with potential for ongoing needs. Job Responsibilities • Provide 24-hour orthopedic emergency call coverage (7a–7a) • Perform orthopedic surgical and non-surgical procedures • Conduct hip nailing procedures (mandatory) • Perform hip and knee replacements, repairs, and revisions • Manage fractures, dislocations, amputations, deformities, and bone/joint tumors • Perform arthroscopy and spinal surgeries (with and without instrumentation) • Treat adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients • Document care using EPIC EMR

Qualifications • Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon • Active Kentucky medical license or IMLC • Active DEA • BLS Certification • Orthopedic Fellowship (preferred) • Experience in general and trauma orthopedic surgery • Clean background and malpractice history • NPDB Self-Query (dated within 30 days at presentation) • COVID vaccination (preferred) Benefits
