Ballinger Memorial Hospital District Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Employment Type: Full-Time

The Physical Therapy Assistant will collaborate closely with the Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality rehabilitative services to both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Work under the supervision and direction of the Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans. • Provide hands-on assistance and instruction to patients during therapy sessions. • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy. • Current Texas license or must be actively in the application process for obtaining the state license

Prior experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in physical therapy, is preferred but not required. • Ballinger Memorial Hospital District offers numerous outpatient services, acute and swing bed care, and is certified as a level IV trauma ER.
