SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an

Associate Environmental Specialist

with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

The Associate Environmental Specialist will support Mortenson's environmental management efforts for Solar and Emerging Renewable projects throughout North America, providing review of environmental documentation, and advising on environmental matters in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES Implement and administer environmental program at each work site

Support project management in developing and executing site-specific environmental plans

Participate in project planning and environmental risk analysis

Review environmental submittals and attend preconstruction meetings with subcontractors

Monitor and review trade partner work plans for environmental concerns

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and implement policies and procedures

Coordinate and support environmental orientation and training programs

Assist with onsite best management practices for environmental management

Monitor implementation of environmental mitigation measures

Conduct work site environmental inspections

Monitor and record environmental data

Document and report environmental violations and non-compliance conditions
