Required Skills: Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in California Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology Proven experience in labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, and inpatient obstetric care Ability to handle emergent gynecological cases efficiently Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to adapt to a pseudo laborist coverage model Nice to Have Skills: Experience working within residency programs, particularly with Family Medicine residents Prior exposure to community-based and hospitalist settings Familiarity with Level III NICU operations and protocols Bilingual capabilities are a plus Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school At least 2 years of inpatient obstetric practice Current ACLS and BLS certifications Active California medical license or eligibility for licensure Prior locum tenens experience is advantageous Other Requirements: Availability to start on December 31, 2025 Willingness to work in a hospital setting with no outpatient or clinic responsibilities Compliance with all hospital and state regulations Participation in ongoing education and certification updates as required This position offers competitive pay at $234 per hour, inclusive of comprehensive medical benefits, weekly pay via direct deposit, a robust referral bonus program, and additional reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other related expenses.
