Medical Assistant - Emerson Cardiovascular Associates Job Ref: 33906 Category: Medical Assistant Location: 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742 Department: Emerson Cardiology Associates Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day shift Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Pay Range: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour Job Summary Reporting to the Office Manager and working under the direct supervision of the Cardiologist(s), responsible for ensuring patient preparation and supporting the physician(s) with clinical duties. Minimum Qualifications Education o High school diploma or equivalent required. o Completion of a Medical Assistant course strongly preferred. Experience o Two to four years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a Cardiologists office preferred. o Licensure and/or Certification o Certification as a Medical Assistant in Massachusetts preferred but not required. Skills o EKG experience required. o Ability to take vital signs. o Customer service skills. o Computer skills with EMR/EHR, Meditech, GE Centricity preferred. o Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. o Strong interpersonal communication skills on the phone and in person. o Ability to maintain confidential information.
