Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Lake Mary, FL area, supporting multiple schools across Volusia County Public Schools. This role involves working primarily at Ormond Beach Elementary and Pine Trail Elementary for the current year, with a transition to a full five-day schedule next year. Additional days are scheduled at Silver Sands Middle School in Port Orange, Florida. Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to students across elementary and middle school settings. Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to support students communication needs. Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to ensure continuity of care. Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) as needed. Maintain proper documentation and comply with district policies and guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required. Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not mandatory. Bachelors degree holders with a willingness to work under a temporary teaching certificate will be considered for this year only (SLPA license holders will not be accepted). Experience working within school settings is highly desirable. Ability to work a 37.5-hour week, with flexibility to cover multiple school locations. Immediate availability preferred, with contract ending June 5, 2026.
