Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-acuity critical care to adult ICU patients with compassion and clinical skill Assess, monitor and document patient status using EPIC and bedside assessments Read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips and act promptly on abnormalities Titrate vasoactive drips, insulin, and sedatives safely and per protocol Troubleshoot respiratory support from nasal cannula through ventilator support and collaborate with Respiratory Therapy Respond to trauma and code events with calm, decisive action Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient-centered care Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and recovery plans

Qualifications Active RN license eligible for practice in Nebraska (license to submit required) Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Comfortable titrating drips and managing cardiac monitoring/strip interpretation Familiarity with GE telemetry systems and EPIC charting Drivers license required at submittal (50-mile radius rule applies) Willing to complete orientation requirements and pass the skills exam (90% pass required) Able to work nights, every other weekend, and meet the holiday requirement for the contract

Knowledge & Skills Critical care nursing practices and protocols Cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation Vasoactive medication management and drip titration Ventilation basics and troubleshooting from nasal cannula to ventilator Trauma and acute medical management (sepsis, post-stent, stroke, renal/heart failure) Proficient EPIC documentation and clinical charting Strong patient assessment, prioritization, and clinical decision-making
