We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technicians to join our Emergency, Critical Care, and Surgery teams. Job Summary As a Veterinary Technician at MVH, you’ll play a critical role in supporting veterinarians and providing high-quality care to our patients. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for animal welfare. Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with emergency and critical care cases Monitor and care for hospitalized and critical patients Perform technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, lab work, and anesthesia monitoring Ensure patient comfort, safety, and advocacy at all times Collaborate within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Requirements Current Veterinary Technician License in the State of Ohio (required) Strong interest or experience in emergency/critical care Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting Open Positions & Schedules ICU / Critical Care Wednesday- Saturday | 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday| 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM or 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM Emergency Wednesday-Saturday 9p-7a Wednesday- Saturday- 2nd shift Compensation Starting at $23.00 per hour, based on experience Shift differential available for 3rd shift and weekends Why Metropolitan?
