Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department Perform rapid assessments and triage to prioritize patient needs effectively Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to protocols Collaborate with physicians, techs and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care Document patient assessments, interventions and responses clearly and timely Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns when necessary Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control and regulatory standards

Qualifications Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of North Carolina (or multistate compact where applicable) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements Strong critical thinking, prioritization and emergency clinical skills

Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills Skilled in rapid patient assessment and triage Competent in emergency interventions and medication administration Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings Ability to document clearly and efficiently under time pressure Familiarity with ED workflows, patient flow management and acute care protocols
