In this position you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at LabCorp: “Improving Health, Improving Lives”.

Work Schedule: 3rd shift, One night per week, 7pm - 7:30am. Flexibility on night worked.

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving. Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or non-traditional Associate’s degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements One year or more experience as a core lab/generalist is required Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
