This opportunity is for a Pharmacist to support a critical access hospital on the picturesque southern Oregon coast. The role involves working within the Pharmacy and Oncology departments, specifically assisting with a chemotherapy expansion project at a small rural hospital.
Location:
Coastal Oregon, Port Orford area
Schedule/Hours:
40 hours per week
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
Rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage shared among four pharmacists
Responsibilities:
Support pharmacy operations in a 15-bed Critical Access Hospital setting, focusing on oncology services
Collaborate with clinical teams to provide patient-centered care
Utilize Epic electronic health record system for charting and documentation
Provide expert pharmaceutical care related to chemotherapy protocols and oncology medications
This position does not include Pharmacy-in-Charge responsibilities
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
PharmD degree required
Active Oregon Pharmacist license mandatory
Oncology experience strongly preferred
Previous hospital pharmacy experience beneficial
Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment
