Qualifications & Desired Experience: Minimum 5 years recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred Strong triage skills and critical thinking abilities Experience with trauma and cardiac alert cases, including STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patient care Preferred: Familiarity with Meditech EMR system Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish Responsibilities: Perform IV insertions, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, and wound care Support moderate sedation procedures such as reductions or cardioversion Assist with intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code responses Provide care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health patients Prepare and coordinate patient transport for higher levels of care Conduct triage assessment following ESI guidelines Implement isolation and infection control protocols Maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced setting Schedule: Day and night shifts available; schedule includes 2 weekends per cycle No on-call duties required Ideal Candidate Traits: Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and accountability Punctual, reliable, and compassionate, delivering excellent patient-centered care Flexible and adaptable in a high-pressure environment This contract role is an excellent fit for experienced ER nurses seeking a challenging and rewarding environment.
