Job Description:
This role involves providing care to patients in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. The nurse will be responsible for managing laboring patients, titrating drips, and following AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to obstetrics, postpartum, antepartum, and post-surgical GYN patients.
Titrate drips such as Pitocin, Mag, and Procardia as required.
Participate in patient education, particularly concerning breastfeeding.
Complete all necessary documentation in the EPIC charting system.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience.
BLS and NRP certifications required.
Driverโs license required at submission.
Must pass an open book exam during orientation with at least 90%.
