Local Contract Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care / Family Health- Onsite Location: Austin, TX- 78749 Duration: 6 Months+ Highly Possible Extension Shift: MC hours including every other weekend.

Position Summary: The Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team to deliver evidence-based primary and family care to a defined panel of patients. This includes comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic health conditions. The role also involves health counseling, preventive screenings, and disposition planning. The provider will collaborate closely with clinical team members to drive improved patient outcomes and will report to the Practice Manager. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic health conditions. Conduct routine examinations, health screenings, diagnostic testing, and patient evaluations. Deliver health counseling and chronic disease management in alignment with quality-measurement standards. Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the clinical team. Promote patient engagement and self-management through education, prevention, and wellness services. Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality outcomes. Administrative & Operational Duties Perform opening and closing procedures for the clinic. Manage inventory, supplies, patient follow-up, and documentation. Verify patient insurance, collect payments, and maintain accurate records. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment. Support patient appointment scheduling and workflow management. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program. Current National Board Certification as an FNP. Active state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Verified high school diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
