Requirements:

Active RN license in the practicing state.

Experience in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life nursing preferred.

Strong clinical, communication, and compassionate care skills.

BLS required; hospice or palliative care certifications preferred.

Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor patient conditions, including pain and symptom management.

Administer medications and interventions to ensure patient comfort.

Educate patients and families on hospice care, disease progression, and end-of-life planning.

Document patient care and communicate with the interdisciplinary hospice team.

Provide emotional and psychosocial support to patients and families.
