Attorney - Project Finance - Elite BigLaw Platform (Houston)

An elite global law firm is investing in the continued growth of its Houston office and is looking to add an Associate to its market leading Project Development and Finance practice.

The team sits at the forefront of complex energy and infrastructure financings, advising both sponsors and lenders on high value domestic and cross border transactions. The group executes more than 100 project financings each year, valued in the billions, and is consistently involved in industry defining deals.

You will work across project development and project finance matters, supporting sponsors and financial institutions on sophisticated transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. The practice is known for its technical depth, commercial approach and ability to drive complex deals through to closing.

About you: 4+ years’ experience in project development and or project finance Experience gained at a large national or international law firm Exposure to energy and infrastructure transactions is advantageous Strong drafting and negotiation skills Excellent academic credentials US qualified attorney with a JD or equivalent
