Boeing Commercial Airplanes

(BCA)

Software Engineering organization. The ideal

intaining a secure operating environment across various cloud service providers. By leveraging automation technologies, you will help build and sustain infrastructure, computing systems, and applications through a robust

DevSecOps

pipeline. If

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Level Software Engineers.

Position Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test

, and

deployment processes for COTS and custom-built applications

Integrate

DevSecOps

tools to automate security checks and vulnerability assessments wi

thin t

he CI/CD pipeline

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, operations, and product teams, to ensure security is embedded in all phases of the application lifecycle

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior Software Developers a

nd

Dev

SecOps

Engineers, promoting best practices in automation, security, and cloud operations

Enhance operational security by implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

Participate

in Agile SAFE ceremonies, providing input on security and automation best practices

Strong understanding of networking and network security concepts

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD processes, security tools, and operational security

Provide training and guidance to teams on CI/CD,

DevSecOps

, and operational security b

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements through automated checks and controls

Basic

Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): 5

+ years of experience with Development Operations (DevOps)

5

+ years of experience with GitLab, DevOp

s tools (ADO and/or AWS)

, and CI/CD

pipelines, automation, and deployment

5

+ years of experience with cloud-platform technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)

5+ years

of

experience

with

networking basics (VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, DNS, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (

includes

manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Level 3

: 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Level 4:

5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Current certifications such as

Azure

Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or Docker Certified Associate

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (

IaC

) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

Experience with containerization and cloud orchestration tools (Tanzu, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker)

Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk, etc.)

Experience in integrating security tools like SAST, DAST, and vulnerability scanners into CI/CD pipelines

Experience with Infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and automation tools (

e.g.

Puppet, Ansible, Chef etc.)

Experience with security frameworks and stan

dards (

e.g.

NIST 800-53)

Experience with network security and intrusion detection/prevention systems

Experience with serverless

architectures

and associated security challenges

Experience with scripting programming languages such as Python,

Bash,

or similar

based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced Level (Level 3): $

118,150 - $159,850 Summary pay range for Senior Level (Level 4): $

141,950 – 192,050
