Position: Paramedic (EMT-P) – Knoxville, TN

What You’ll Do

As a Vital Paramedic, you will provide

advanced emergency and non-emergency medical care , including: Responding to 911 and interfacility calls

Performing ALS assessments and interventions

Administering medications per Standing Orders

Interpreting EKGs and operating advanced medical equipment

Delivering high-quality care throughout transport

Lifting, transferring, and moving patients safely

Maintaining accurate Patient Care Reports (PCRs)

Cleaning, restocking, and maintaining equipment

Driving an ambulance safely and professionally

Requirements: Skills, Education & Required Qualifications 18 years of age or older

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Tennessee Paramedic License

Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record

Strong BLS-level proficiency

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organization and problem-solving skills

Current CPR Certification

Preferred Credentials (Highly Valued) ACLS

PHTLS

ITLS

National Registry Paramedic (NREMT-P)

Conditions of Employment Post-offer physical exam
