Criminal Defense Attorney in Sarasota

Company Description Hanlon Law is a criminal defense firm with offices in Tampa, Clearwater, Sarasota, and Orlando. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Sarasota, FL, for a Criminal Defense Attorney at Hanlon Law. We are seeking an aggressive associate attorney with 3-4 years of experience in either the Public Defenders or State Attorneys office.

If you do not have jury trial experience, please do not apply . Applicant will be working primarily in the Sarasota office but may be required to drive to courthouses within the local area. Salary depends on experience and performance, $200K+. Qualifications Strong expertise in Criminal Defense Law, Criminal Defense, and Criminal Law Proficient in Legal Research and application of laws Excellent courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Juris Doctor (JD) degree and an active Florida Bar license Previous experience in criminal defense or relevant legal practice is highly preferred
