Key Responsibilities – Hospital Veterinarian Norman, OK Perform physical exams, diagnose and treat diseases, and provide preventive care Develop problem-based diagnostic and treatment plans Document all medical findings, diagnostics, treatments, medications, and client interactions Conduct routine and complex surgeries, including spays/neuters, mass removals, and abdominal procedures Perform routine and advanced dental procedures including radiographs and extractions Manage hospitalized patients and coordinate transitions for overnight or referral care Participate in team rounds at the start and end of shifts Share knowledge with colleagues to improve patient and client care Uphold hospital protocols and SOPs

Candidate Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited school Active veterinary license in Oklahoma or eligibility to obtain by start date DEA license and Controlled Substance License (or ability to obtain) USDA Category I Accreditation (or completion within two months of hire) Comfortable performing anesthesia, routine surgeries, and dental procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented
