Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior (Level 4), or Principal (Level 5) 737 MAX Development Airworthiness and Regulatory Specialist (Experienced Safety & Airworthiness Specialist) to join our Chief Aerospace Safety Office (CASO) organization. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level, Senior, and Principal 737 MAX Development Airworthiness and Regulatory Engineers. Join us today and help shape the future of aerospace safety.Primary responsibilities: Provide ample visibility and actively work with functional and programmatic executive leadership of performance success, issues and procure leadership intervention when necessary.Implement process improvements drawing on cross functional expertise to innovate practical, sustainable solutions to increase engineering on time completion of corrective actions plans.Partners with enterprise groups to continuously improve our processes and tools to ensure we are ready for the future of BCA and to ensure these processes are consistent with the greater Boeing Enterprise.Coordinating the development of issue papersAssessing certification plans Developing certification approaches/strategies with the Federal Aviation Authorities (FAA), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and technical focal across the enterpriseAssisting in the development of technical briefs for domestic and foreign regulators Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutionsDevelops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processesResolves cross-functional technical issuesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton, WA or Everett, WA.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Level 4: 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceLevel 5: 15+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience working 14 CFR Part 25 and EASA CS-25 aspectsExperience with regulatory agencies' procedures and process6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.6+ years of experience working in a function or programExperience with project management and self-managing projectsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):Experience in presenting data to customers, suppliers, and program and site leaders.Experience working with the compliance value stream.Systems thinker capable of proposing and implementation system improvements based on data analysis for long-term impacts.Experience developing material and presenting to multiple levels of an organization.Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.Experience communicating verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences including Engineering Executive Leadership, Functional Discipline Focals, Compliance Investigation and Compliance Administration.
