Key Responsibilities
In this Trusts and Estates – General / Estate & Tax Planning role, you will:
• Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on advanced estate planning, wealth transfer, and trust administration
• Design tax-efficient succession plans using trusts, family partnerships, charitable planning structures, and related vehicles
• Partner with corporate/transactional teams on Tax - M&A and Transactions matters, including shareholder, partnership, and tax structuring considerations
• Counsel clients on aligning estate and income tax strategies with liquidity events (pre- and post-sale planning)
• Draft and review complex estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, and related governance/operating documents
• Coordinate with accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to deliver integrated solutions
• Independently manage multiple sophisticated matters while maintaining excellent client service and responsiveness
Future pacing: by year-end, you could be leading end-to-end planning for a major liquidity event—integrating estate, gift, and income tax planning with business transition strategy.

Qualifications
• 7–10 years of experience in estate planning and federal tax law, including exposure to closely held business planning and/or M&A-related tax issues
• Strong command of federal income, estate, and gift tax rules (including generation-skipping transfer planning)
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters independently and drive solutions efficiently
• Pennsylvania Bar required (PA Bar required)
• LL.M. in Taxation strongly preferred
