Facility Maintenance Technician

Description: Position Summary The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient facility operations. This role requires hands-on experience with HVAC systems, electrical components, and general building maintenance. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-focused, and capable of working independently to resolve maintenance issues. Requirements: Key Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, breakers, and equipment controls Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and building systems Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner Maintain facility infrastructure, including plumbing, fixtures, doors, and structural components Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility procedures Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection records Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are required Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Required Qualifications Proven experience in facility maintenance or industrial maintenance Working knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance Electrical experience, including basic wiring, diagnostics, and repairs Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Physical ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments Preferred Qualifications HVAC certification or related technical training Electrical certification or trade school education Experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility Familiarity with safety regulations and preventative maintenance programs Foresight Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
