Position Summary The

People Services Director

leads and directs all human resources functions within a healthcare environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence. This role provides strategic HR leadership, oversees departmental operations, and supports workforce engagement and compliance. Essential Responsibilities Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and standards Direct and evaluate HR operations and service levels Plan and monitor staffing levels, hiring strategies, and performance evaluations Prepare and oversee departmental budgets Coordinate internal and external audits Support compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements Foster professional development within the HR team Lead employee relations and workforce engagement initiatives Support labor relations activities, including collective bargaining (if applicable) Ensure consistent and reliable departmental operations Supervisory Responsibilities Hire, train, and evaluate HR staff Conduct performance reviews and corrective actions Provide leadership and mentorship to the HR team Required Qualifications Master’s degree
