You will be responsible for the general overseeing of the facility's operations and management including providing optimal care, communicating the facility's policies and ensuring the general order, safety and cleanliness of the facility. Shift/weekend differentials where applicable Medical, dental and vision coverage options Weekly Pay The chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents Qualifications of a Nursing Supervisor include: Valid NY state nursing license Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and outside agencies Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility Must be able to transfer and pivot residents. -: National Health Care Associates (National) is proud to be a family-run organization since 1984.
