Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
Pediatric Pulmonologist
to join a well-established, multidisciplinary pediatric specialty practice. The physician will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to pediatric patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions while collaborating closely with a team of specialists in a dynamic clinical environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a high-acuity pediatric setting with access to advanced diagnostic tools, specialty clinics, and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert medical care to pediatric patients with respiratory disorders, including but not limited to:
Cystic Fibrosis
Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia
Severe Asthma
Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia
Complex and rare pulmonary conditions
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic assessments in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Participate in inpatient service rotations and outpatient clinic coverage.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
Participate in case conferences, clinical consultations, and care planning discussions.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize clinical processes.
Contribute to research activities, academic development, and education of trainees or mid-level providers (if applicable).
Maintain compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of Pediatric residency
Fellowship training in Pediatric Pulmonology
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology
Eligible for or holding an active California medical license
Active DEA registration
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong clinical and diagnostic expertise in pediatric pulmonary medicine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Interest or experience in clinical research, education, and program development preferred
